The casinos of Monaco are smoke-free.

It was expected that the casinos in Monaco were excluded from this law, but ultimately not benefit any particular status. The implementation of the regulations will undoubtedly be controversial, given that those responsible for the casinos believe that a portion of its customers will no longer go.

The law on protection against smoking, “voted in late April at the National Council (Parliament) of Monaco, includes a ban on smoking in” enclosed places and covered by collective use or which constitute a place of work “to From Nov. 1.

The principality had not yet formally criminalized the use of smoking in bars and restaurants, although some establishments already are implementing the rules.

A spokesman for the lessee of Tobacco Company, quoted by the daily Monaco-Matin, believes that the implementation of the law on smoking should include a rebate of the recipes at around 6%.
